Everyone knows that exercise is good for the brain and especially the aging brain. Decades of research have revealed that many different forms of exercise have beneficial effects on cognition and reducing risk of Alzheimer's Disease in older adults.
However, one strategy stands head and shoulders above the rest for its significant impact on cognition - cognitive-motor training, also referred to as dual-tasking. Due to advances in technology we now have tools that can implement a wide variety of dual-tasking strategies to address most aspects of mental and physical function and personalize the level of difficulty based on the user.
