This session will offer an introduction to The OUT Foundation's work of removing the barriers that block LGBTQ+ Individuals access to health, fitness and wellness.
Participants will takeaway a knowledge of OUT's three signature programs, an understanding of the throughlines that exist between mental and physical health for the LGBTQ+ community and a call to action for involvement--with actionable steps they can take to be accepting and welcoming of the LGBTQ+ community in their work inside the fitness world.

Paul Raker
Paul Raker is the Vice President of Operations and Communications for The OUT Foundation. Prior to joining The OUT Foundation in June of 2023, he spent his career in Operational and Executive Leadership with the YMCA, spending time as YMCA's in North Carolina, Washington, DC and Florida.
At The OUT Foundation, Paul is responsible for marketing, communications and programatic operations through the organizations 3 signature programs--OUTAthlete, OUTAIM and OUTHealth.
He resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.
